Driving Directions

First, get to George Washington Parkway then:

From South of the Airport: Heading north on GW Parkway (from Alexandria), Gravelly Point is the first exit after (and it is immediately after) National Airport.
From North of the Airport: You can only get to Gravelly Point from a northbound exit from GW Parkway. And so, from the North, heading southbound, you need to go past Gravelly point, and turn around (which is not as bad as it sounds). Two options are:
- (a) take the Airport exit and follow signs to Terminal C, and then signs for GW Parkway North
- (b) continue on GW south until you reach Daingerfield Island, where you can turn around and head north
Option (a) is faster, though option (b) is a little more straight-forward.

Bicycle Directions

From the Mall:

From the mall, head towards the Lincoln memorial
Cross Memorial bridge on the left side
Follow trail as it curves back towards the river. (veer left -make u-shape - don't go straight)
Cross PedX crosswalk over GW pkwy.
Take a right on GW trail (south) towards National Airport
Bike until you see the Airport fields on your right
if you bike alongside the National Airport runway (on your left biking
south) you have gone too far!
