"Spirit of the Game: Ultimate relies upon a spirit of sportsmanship that places the responsibility for fair play on the player. Highly competitive play is encouraged, but never at the expense of mutual respect among competitors, adherence to the agreed upon rules, or the basic joy of play. Protection of these vital elements serves to eliminate unsportsmanlike conduct from the Ultimate field. Such actions as taunting opposing players, dangerous aggression, belligerent intimidation, intentional infractions, or other 'win-at-all-costs' behavior are contrary to the Spirit of the Game and must be avoided by all players."

Partnership with DC Department of Parks & Recreation
A wonderful opportunity exists for WAFC to develop a partnership with the DPR in the city to provide some sort of programming for DC residents. This could include introductory clinics, after school ultimate programs, etc, and could be a chance to spread the joy of Ultimate to people that previously did not know it even existed. It would also help WAFC build a working relationship with DC Parks, and potentially help the club find fields to use within the city. If you have any ideas for programming, or would be interested in helping, please join this group and post your thoughts here.
