Field Czar / Field Representative
To date, the responsibility for securing fields has fallen on the board and a variety of volunteers. It is our intention to consolidate some of this responsibility in one person, who would coordinate volunteers in various jurisdictions to ensure we get our permit applications in on time, and of course more people to help secure fields. In addition to coordinating others, responsibilities may include filing forms with various government agencies (i.e. National Park Service, Montgomery County Rec. Dept., and Arlington Parks Dept.), attending meetings held by those agencies, acting as a liaison on behalf of the club, serving as the named individual on a permit, and advising the club on field locations, policies, and costs.
