Montgomery County Parks Meetings
There are two Montgomery County Parks meeting this month. I'll be attending the one in Silver Spring. If anyone else is interested let's try to coordinate so we can present a united WAFC contingent for any issues that we might bring up.

You are invited to a community meeting on Wednesday, June 17th or 24th, to voice your opinion on how the delivery of the recreational services and programs provided by the Montgomery Parks Department and the Montgomery County Department of Recreation can be improved.
Representatives of the two departments will be on hand to review the County Council's directive to them, present a proposed schedule and workplan to meet the Council's fall deadline and solicit your feedback on the proposed approach. Public outreach is an important part of this process; we hope you will attend and participate.

Highly competitive play is encouraged, but never at the expense of mutual respect among competitors, adherence to the agreed upon rules, or the basic joy of play. Protection of these vital elements serves to eliminate unsportsmanlike conduct from the Ultimate field. Such actions as taunting opposing players, dangerous aggression, belligerent intimidation, intentional infractions, or other 'win-at-all-costs' behavior are contrary to the Spirit of the Game and must be avoided by all players."
