Spring Rec Champs!
May 24, 2011 - 11:21am — JulieS23Congrats to Team Tonka for winning spring Rec league! They played team 4 in the finals and the final score was 15-13. Defense was extremely intense on both sides and advancing the frisbee required a lot of patience. Tonka was down 10-13 late in the game and managed to score five in row for the win.
Bananasaurus Rex wins Fall Rec!

The Smurfs win Summer Weekday Rec League

Congrats to rec league team Smurfs for winning the final game this past Sunday. They beat Huck of Love in a fast paced game. Also, kudos go to the FLICKstones for winning the team spirit award. I hope everyone had a great season!

05/23/2010 UPDATE - All WAFC fields are closed today May 23rd. The folks at Lake Fairfax are in the process of making a weather call for the day. We do not yet know if rec league will be able to play today. The other grass fields in DC are CLOSED.
